I know, June isn’t over yet. But I know what I’m going to do for the next 3 days : be with friends and do nothing. We don’t need to wait another week to wrap up this month !
Whereas, I might consume a few more things in the next 3 days ! Who knows ! I might finish my book ? Watch another movie ? Listen to a new podcast ? Anything is possible !
That being said, what happened in June ?
First, I shot my first music festival ever ! I got accredited for We Love Green in Paris. A rather surprising experience if I must say : I spent 2h30 on my own, walking around the festival, surrounded by people all dressed for Charli XCX and strolling with me with my camera . It was both a humbling experience and a good challenge. I’m really stressed by the idea of being on my own in those social situations. Which I find crazy because I don’t really care being on my own and can do so many things alone. But these kind of events are a challenge. A tap on my own shoulder for the courage.
Then some friends arrived at the festival and I felt less weird, enjoyed the music and felt stupid for being so stressed as literally no one cared about who did what. The beauty of crowds.
I’m happy with the images I got and this got me so motivated for the second festival I’m shooting next week ! I hope I can be more creative and adventurous. It will be smaller, I might feel less awkward ? I hope so. I’ll be in La Douve Blanche for the french music enthusiasts.
Here are some of the images. It’s about to become a habit to share exclusive images here ! I love how casual it feels to share a little selection, no pressure of any kind, just dropping the stuff.

The second big thing isn’t work related, but was a big event of my month : one of my best friend got married, so with a group of friends from university we spend a few days together. This meant a lot as everyone leaving for new adventures is becoming more real but the day. Hopefully this means I’ll be traveling next year and not drowning in depression.
I’m getting carried away. My friend got married. What a beautiful long weekend! So much sun, it was crazy. And we were in Brittany. If you know Brittany, you know it is well known for being a region where the weather is unsure, and you can get a week of rain as well as a sunburn you’ll remember you whole life. We got the crazy sun card, so obviously I ended up with a sunburn on the scalp right on the hairpart. But I’m so grateful for such beautiful weather. This was such a joyful moment, I’m already excited to be joining friends again tomorrow to keep on the momentum.

One other huge thing, that actually happened in May, but I forgot to talk about it last month, is that I signed with my dream licensing agency!! I can’t wait to officially share it. I love this story, as with most milestones, it never comes from where you thought it would. I had reached out to them, never heard from them, and had put that aside for a moment. Then another agency reached out, and this got me back into it : before signing with an agency I wanted to make sure I had done everything I could to get into the one I wanted. So I reached out again, crossing my fingers. And again it’s not where it came from. I actually did a mentorship a while ago, with a travel photographer because I want to develop this aspect of my work but didn’t know where to start, and the topic of licensing came in the discussion. Long story short, she put me in contact and the rest is now history. Shout out to her, I’m so grateful for her generosity. Let’s see where this takes us in the future now! Your sign to invest in yourself!
Other than that, it was a month with a lot of questioning, regarding life, work, and anything in between. I can’t say I have found any answers yet, every new thought brings its share of new questions. I’m left with a farandole of interrogations and a reoccurring fear of not taking the right decision and regretting for ever. All these thoughts endlessly dancing in my head. That’s the bottomless pit of overthinking I’m in right now. But hey, you know what ? Apparently it was the New Moon in Cancer so everything should unlock in some way right ?
To end on a less depressing note : I worked again with two clients I love working with, which warmed my heart and made me feel good. I ate ice creams. The new season of HPI started again and I binged it in an afternoon. I’m way more than that I usually am this time of the year, all this while tanning with SPF 50+ all the time !
And without further ado, I’m jumping on the subway to get to my sister graduation. Did I told you she is the smart kid of the family and she is officially Mrs PhD ??
